Midlands Roller Arena always puts their best skate forward, helping their customers improve their skills to have the best experience possible. They value safety and take all the necessary precautions to keep you at ease, including choosing the right footwear, and will supply wrist, knee and elbow pads to keep you safe.

But the fun doesn’t truly begin until we hit the arena! Our session doesn’t just entail skating, but learning new moves too. You can learn the basics of stopping and starting to professional techniques, such as backward fishes and crossovers. Their friendly first-aiders will catch you if you fall, but will also teach you how to gracefully pick yourself back up.

Me and my daughter visit most Sundays, we skate and eat as this is the best value which includes a burger/nuggets/sausage or pizza and chips as well as squash which is much needed after skating. You can be any age or level of skating experience to come here, we were total newbies and wobbling and falling all over the place but still had a great time. There's a really friendly atmosphere here and the staff are lovely and helpful. You can also have birthday parties here too which gives you exclusive use of the rink for skating and the lights are switched off to make it into a cool disco.

We've been going to lessons and the roller discos regularly and always a warm welcome. Parking can get a bit tricky on busy nights (especially at the change over time on a Friday disco night). The rink side area is a bit basic, but the cafe is pretty good, range of snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. You can even watch the rink on the TV there! Highly recommend.

So great to come back to a place I used to visit every Friday! Excellent to see that DJ Summy is still in the Friday slot for the disco and his choice of music was just first class excellent. Visited with family for the second time and on both occasions found the venue to be very friendly and clean. The skates are sanitised after use and the rink is a good size and well maintained. Definitely worth a visit. The cafe prices are reasonable as well. Kids really enjoyed themselves and that's what matters most.

If you like roller skating then you'll love this place! I've been here with my daughters on numerous occasions and they and I both really enjoy skating here. The online booking system is easy to use and the price is very reasonable. The premises have a cafe at the front and a large carpark outside. The skating rink is large with lots of seating around the perimeter available. Skate hire available if you don't have your own.

My daughter absolutely loves it here and has made many memories for her :) I have also tried skating (loved it as a kid) but is not like riding a bike, you do forget. Therefore I now opt for coffee and watch her on the screen. Reasonable priced too!
