Walking on the rink isn’t allowed for safety reasons. If you’d like to help a skater, you’ll need to pop on some skates to join them on the rink! The only exception is during our Beginners’ Skate Sessions where walking is permitted.

Yes, it is free for spectators to watch and we’ve got plenty of seating at the rink! You can also keep watch from our café via our TV live stream.

Beginners are welcome at all public skate sessions! We also run a Beginners’ Skate session every Monday 4:30-6:30pm & Wednesday 4–6 PM for a more relaxed experience.

No – skaters of all ages are welcome.

For the safety and comfort of all our skaters, protective equipment will no longer be available to borrow for free as of the 1st December 2025. We now offer pads for purchase at the skate hut. This change ensures every skater has access to clean, well-fitted protective pads, that are theirs to keep.

Feel free to bring your own suitable roller skates! Rental skates are also available for £2pp.

We have both inline and quad skates available to hire from our Skate Hut.

Your skate size is usually the same as your shoe size. We’ve got skates from children’s size 6 to adult size 12, plus clip-on skates for younger kids. If you’re between sizes, try a size down, as our skates tend to run a little big.

Only roller skates are allowed on the rink. No Heelys, buggies, scooters, trainers, or bare feet please!

To request a booking to be move please contact us. Please note, we require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice before your scheduled booking time, and is subject to demand and availability, and accommodation of changes is not guaranteed.
